I was a bit disappointed in this. The beginning hooked me and I was quite enchanted; it reminded me of a grown-up version of some of the stories I read as a child. But, then it seemed to fall away. I thought the story was weak and I would actually be hard-pushed to tell you succinctly what the narrative was. It became quite indulgent and boring towards the end - although there is some nice imagery, I thought it was overdone in places.
