by Tom Quinn
I enjoyed this, have not really got too much to add to other reviews. If you like quirky historical facts about London, then certainly pick this up. Some are very well-known but some not so an I found it an entertaining, easy read for a few evenings. But, Mr Quinn, does have little tantrums in the stories which are bit political and little bit petulant. It's not say that I don't necessarily agree with his points of view regarding development etc., but it seems an odd arena in which to express them, the book, for me, should focus on the eccentricities and remain neutral. But, an enjoyable read.
